Here's to another great week at school! Thank you to our explo team for the spring treats today!! They were delicious. Test proctors have been very appreciative of everyone's attention to stay quiet in the hallways due to testing. Thank you for this team effort!

The PTA Walk-A-Thon has officially kicked off!! I think the kids are really going to get behind this fundraiser for the GLOW party incentive if we keep promoting it! The assembly had a fun impromptu dance party, hopefully we'll hit our goal and have another celebration in the near future. Please promote the walkathon and school goal GLOW PARTY celebration in your weekly newsletter. Carolyn sent out a fantastic communication that you can tweak to your communication style. Don't forget to mention that Friday April 7 will be a Spirit Day to dress Bright or White as a reminder to promote the fundraising goal celebration!

As we are looking ahead to next year, please try to get me your team's top 3 priorities and reasoning soon so the building schedule team can assemble and begin to work. Due to high FDK kindergarten enrollment numbers, we will have three full-day sections of kindergarten and one half-day section as numbers currently stand.

I appreciate everyone's quick response to Monday's fire drill. The fire marshall visited to observe Monday's drill, and he had very positive feedback. One reminder he offered is that if an adult actually DOES see fire/smoke or smell smoke/burning, you are fully empowered and encouraged to call 911 and provide all information about your observations. You are also at that time encouraged to pull the nearest manual fire drill to your location. It doesn't have to be a custodian or office personnel in the event of a real fire.

The police department and district representatives conducted a safety and security audit today. Results and recommendations will be shared with the BLT Monday and any building adjustments will be communicated after the BEMT considers the feedback. We received very positive feedback overall, way to go!

7:30am - All Pro Dads Breakfast in the EAA ** Please promote this in your newsletter!
- Inviting all Dads, step Dads, Grandfathers, Father Figures and kids for a quick, before school breakfast (DONUTS!!) on Wed, April 5th at 7:30am in the East Activity Area. Enjoy a brief program on fatherhood and Trust with Mill Valley Cheerleaders, Football Players and Head Coach Applebee as well. Plus Raffle Prizes!
9:30-1:00 - SIT/IEP/504 meetings in the conference room.
11:00-11:30 am - Happy Bear visit for morning kindergarten - EAA
1:00 pm - Happy Bear visit for PM and FDK kindergarten - WAA
