April 17 PD Day

Dear USD 232 Licensed Educators,

Monday, April 17th (the day before the Federal Income Tax filing deadline) we’ll come together for a full day of professional development at De Soto High School.  The format will be that of a conference.  No need to register in advance for sessions.  Simply make your selections and report to the designated rooms throughout the day.  If the room for the session you have chosen is at capacity, move to another choice/location.  Most sessions are offered twice during the day.

The link below provides access to the full schedule for the day, a map of DHS, and a list of Tech Vendors who will display their “wares” in the cafeteria throughout the day.  Be sure to scroll down to the bottom of the page to view all of the offerings. To assist you in choosing your sessions, the title of each session is hyperlinked.  Click on the title and it will take you to a brief description of the session, the presenter’s name and the intended audience.  We hope sending this information in advance will allow you sufficient time to plan your day.  Posters of the session schedule will be displayed throughout the school and session titles will be posted outside of classrooms.
