Congratulations for a successful first full week of school!  Everyone did fantastic on our fire drill, and the popsicle celebration was the perfect end on a beautiful day.  

 

As the 'honeymoon phase' begins to wear off, please be sure that if there are behavior incidents in your classroom that occur, that you document them in our Google Docs.  http://tinyurl.com/gml5b8o

ARRIVAL/DISMISSAL:

• We have also had many students dropped off out front before 8:30 am.  If a RE staff member is not out front in the morning, students may not be dropped off. 

• We have had parents calling in well after 3:00 pm with going home changes...please continue to inform parents that if they have a going home change, they need to call/email the front office with the change prior to 3:00 pm.

• Good news!  There will now be an additional walkie talkie in Kyndel's office to use used in the gym during front car loop dismissal.  If you are on duty in the gym after school, please ensure that someone has the walkie talkie with them.

Grade-level teams: Kelly is in the process of preparing the Behavior Screener that will be available on the Staff Drive --  District Buildings -- RE -- PLCS -- Grade Level -- MTSS -- Behavior Screener [Teacher Name].  Please go through and rate each student according to the legend on the screen for EACH behavior column on the scale of 1-4.  It will auto-populate the Overall score.  Please try to have this completed before September 8 to be discussed at that week's PLC meeting.
