Congratulations on a successful first week with students!  It has been wonderful seeing so many returning students after summer break and get right back into the routine of school, and our new students have impressed me as well.  I can tell this is going to be a wonderful school year!  Kudos to our new staff for all of the extra hard hard work they have put in to make it a smooth start.  Thanks to everyone for their flexibility and patience with RE families, students, and staff, as everyone is normalizing to school schedules, policies, and procedures.

Text Alerts - All staff are strongly encouraged to sign up.  These are very useful for incelement weather notices, as well as during a building or district emergency response.  We also use this method of communicating SNOW DAYS instead of a SNOW CALLING tree

• 4:00-5:00 pm- Building Leadership Team (BLT) meeting in office conference room.  Note: This meeting is usually from 3:45-

Tuesday, Aug. 23 - Business as usual.

Wednesday, Aug. 24

IEP/SIT/504 Meeting Day in Conference Room.  If you are a teacher who will be attending one of these meetings, a DR staff member or Toni will be contacting you.

• 6:30-7:30 pm - WatchDog Dads free Pizza Dinner for those interested in the program.  All Riverview dads and kids are invited to attend!

Friday, Aug. 26

• 8:00-8:25 am - Staff Meeting: WAA Certified staff attending weekly Friday staff meetings.

• 9:00-12:00 - Vision Screening K-2 Rm. 305 (next door to Eskina's classroom)

• Popsicle Celebration provided by PTA in the Courtyard. (AM-Kinder @ 11:00 am; all other classes 2:30 pm
